Luigi Minguzzi lives and works in Ravenna (Italy).
His interest in painting began in the mid-1960s.
He attended a scientific school, and he has an university degree in Phisics.
During his university years, his style evolved significantly and moved towards optical art, which he interprets using a completely original technique.
After graduation, Luigi Minguzzi devoted himself mainly to his career as a physicist, temporarily leaving aside his passion for painting.
In 1977 he was the only candidate to pass the public examination for the post of Physicist for the Control of Atmospheric Pollution. He worked in and developed this role for the next five years.
In 1982 he became an entrepreneur and he set up a business in drainage systems and submarine works.
In 1987 he became managing director of a shipping company specialised in the transportation of crude oil and petroleum products.
In 1992 he was involved in the plannig and building of a big port terminal, which became operative in 1994 and which he managed until 2009.
During these years his artistic career took a back seat, but his passion for painting remained and Minguzzi began experimenting with new techniques.
